Tart Shell
  • 1 piece pre-made tart shell Store-bought for convenience.
Filling
  • 2 pieces ripe pears, peeled and sliced Choose ripe pears for best sweetness.
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios Finely ground for filling.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine the shelled pistachios and granulated sugar. Pulse until you have a fine powder.
  3. Add the softened butter to the pistachio mixture and blend well. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  4. Pour in the vanilla and almond extracts, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the pistachio filling into the pre-made tart shell, spreading it evenly.
  6. Take the sliced pears and delicately arrange them on top of the filling.
  7. Place the tart in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  8. Allow the tart to cool before slicing. Serve it with your favorite toppings!

Notes

For extra delight, serve with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or honey. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2-3 days or freeze for longer storage.
