Step 1: Prepare the Steak
Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper. In a shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Step 2: Coat and Fry
Dredge each steak in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat again in the flour mixture. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Make the Gravy
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the oil from the skillet. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly, until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
Serve the chicken fried steaks hot, topped with the gravy and garnished with fresh parsley.
