Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks Broken into smaller pieces
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple Drained
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by breaking the pretzel sticks into smaller pieces. You want them to be bite-sized, so crush them gently to maintain some crunch.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until it’s smooth and creamy. You can use a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon here; just make sure you mix it well.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping and the drained crushed pineapple into the cream cheese mixture. Make sure everything is nicely combined, but take care to keep the fluffy texture of the whipped topping.
  4. Gently fold the crushed pretzels and mini marshmallows into the mixture. Be cautious not to crush the pretzels too much; you want that delightful crunch to shine through.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. This allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to thicken.
  6. Once chilled, garnish with extra mini marshmallows or a sprinkle of crushed pretzels on top for visual appeal before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare a day ahead to let the flavors meld. Make sure you drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly to prevent excess moisture. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
