Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced Use ripe pineapple for best flavor.
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, pitted and diced Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
Liquid Base
  • 4 cups water Use cold water for a refreshing drink.
  • 2-4 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste; consider honey or agave as alternatives.
  • 1 juice lime Squeeze fresh lime for tanginess.
  • as needed Ice cubes Add ice to serve chilled.

Preparation
  1. Wash the fresh pineapple and peaches. Slice the pineapple into chunks and dice the peaches after removing the pits.
  2. In a blender, combine the diced pineapple and peaches with 4 cups of water. Blend until it reaches your desired texture.
  3. Add sugar to taste and blend again, adjusting until the sweetness of the fruits shines through.
  4. Squeeze the juice of one lime into the mixture for a tangy balance.
  5. (Optional) Strain the mixture into a pitcher for a clearer drink, or leave the pulp for added fiber.
  6. Add plenty of ice to the drink, and it’s ready to serve!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the drink in ice cube trays for later use.
