Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks Use ripe pineapple for the best flavor
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup coconut water or orange juice Option for added hydration
  • 1/2 cup yogurt Optional for creaminess
  • Ice cubes Optional for a frosty texture

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Peel the orange and segment it to make it easier to blend. If you’re using fresh pineapple, cut it into chunks.
Blending
  1. In a blender, add the fresh pineapple chunks and the orange segments. Pour in the coconut water or orange juice.
  2. If you like your smoothie creamier, add the yogurt at this stage.
  3. If you prefer a chilled smoothie, toss a few ice cubes into the blender.
  4. Blend on high until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency—about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  5. After blending, taste the smoothie and adjust by adding more fruit or liquids based on your preference.
Serving
  1. Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of shredded coconut.

Notes

If you have any leftover smoothie, store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. For longer storage, freeze your smoothie in ice cube trays for up to one month.
