Ingredients
  

For the Cone
  • 1 pack ready-made pie crusts Use your choice of pie crust.
For the Filling
  • 2 cups fruit filling (apples, cherries, or mixed berries) Feel free to get creative with other fruits.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon Enhances flavor.
  • 2 tbsp sugar Adjust based on sweetness of fruit.
For Topping
  • as needed Whipped cream or ice cream Optional topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll the ready-made pie crusts on a flat surface and cut out circles about 4-5 inches in diameter using a round cutter or glass.
  3. Roll each circle into a cone shape, pinching the bottom to prevent leaking and secure with a dab of water if necessary.
  4. In a bowl, mix fruit filling with cinnamon and sugar, then fill each cone with 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture.
  5. Pinch the edges of the crust over the filling to seal, using a fork for a tighter closure.
  6. Place the cones upright on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow cones to cool for a few minutes before topping with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Store leftover cones in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
