- Preheat your oven and cook the frozen French fries according to the package instructions until they are nice and crispy.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper to the skillet with the cooked steak. Sauté until the vegetables are tender (about 3-4 minutes).
Assembly and Baking
- Once the fries are cooked, layer them on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the fries, then sprinkle cheddar and provolone cheese generously on top.
- Place the loaded fries in the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the oven and add any additional toppings, such as jalapeños or chives, before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For reheating, place them in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10–15 minutes.
