  • 32 ounces Frozen French Fries Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 pound Beef Steak, sliced thinly Flank or sirloin preferred for best flavor.
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Provolone Cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

  • Sliced jalapeños For extra heat.
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Chives For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven and cook the frozen French fries according to the package instructions until they are nice and crispy.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper to the skillet with the cooked steak. Sauté until the vegetables are tender (about 3-4 minutes).
Assembly and Baking
  1. Once the fries are cooked, layer them on a baking sheet.
  2. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the fries, then sprinkle cheddar and provolone cheese generously on top.
  3. Place the loaded fries in the oven and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  4. Remove from the oven and add any additional toppings, such as jalapeños or chives, before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For reheating, place them in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10–15 minutes.
