  • 2 slices slices of provolone cheese You can mix with mozzarella for added flavor.
  • ½ cup thinly sliced ribeye steak Use halal ribeye steak if preferred.

  • ¼ cup sautéed bell peppers Cook with onions.
  • to taste Butter For spreading on the bread.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by thinly slicing your ribeye steak, onions, and bell peppers. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add a touch of oil to the skillet, then toss in your sliced onions and peppers. Sauté them for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and fragrant.
  2. Move the sautéed veggies to the side, add the sliced ribeye to the skillet, and cook until just browned, which will take about 3-4 minutes. Ensure everything is well combined.
Assembly and Grilling
  1. On one slice of bread, layer half of the provolone cheese, followed by the steak and veggie mixture. Top with the remaining provolone cheese and place the second slice of bread on top.
  2. Spread butter on both sides of the sandwich and place it on the skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and repeat on the other side until the cheese is gooey and melted.
  3. Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and prepare to savor every flavorful bite!

Notes

To store leftovers, cool completely, wrap tightly in foil or an airtight container, and refrigerate for 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet for the best results.
