Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade. Ensure each piece is well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour; overnight for the best flavors.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
Grilling
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for about 15 minutes, turning every few minutes until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
Serving
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover chicken kebabs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 3 months. When reheating, place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until heated through.
