  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons) Use fresh for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • a pinch cayenne pepper (optional) For added heat if desired.

Preparation
  1. Start by juicing your lemons and measuring out the other ingredients.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste, and adjust according to your preference. You can also add a touch of cayenne for a kick!
  4. If desired, stir in some chopped fresh parsley for color and added flavor.
  5. Drizzle generously over your cooked fish and enjoy the symphony of flavors!

Notes

Store any extra sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freeze in ice cube trays for easy portioning. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before use.
