  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup peanut butter Smooth or crunchy based on preference
  • 1 cup marshmallows Mini marshmallows work best
  • 1/4 cup butter Unsalted butter recommended
  • 1/2 cup honey Optional for added sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Grease an 8x8-inch pan with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in marshmallows until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add in Rice Krispies, folding gently to coat each piece evenly.
  5. Transfer mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly to compact.
  6. Allow treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze wrapped tightly for up to 3 months.
