Preparation
- Grease an 8x8-inch pan with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in marshmallows until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in peanut butter until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add in Rice Krispies, folding gently to coat each piece evenly.
- Transfer mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly to compact.
- Allow treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze wrapped tightly for up to 3 months.
