Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/4 cup milk (or more as needed) Add incrementally for the desired consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional) For an extra layer of flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter. Beat them together using an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing continuously at a low speed to avoid a sugar cloud. Once incorporated, increase the mixer’s speed to blend everything together.
  3. Add milk gradually to the mixture, adjusting the amount as necessary until you reach your desired frosting consistency. You want it creamy but still spreadable!
  4. If you want an extra layer of flavor, add in the vanilla extract and blend until fully combined.
  5. Use this magnificent frosting on your favorite cakes and cupcakes, and watch as smiles light up everyone’s face!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before using. Experiment with other nut butters for different flavors.
