- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently mix in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping later.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Swirl the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh for up to one week. To freeze, place them in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
