Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced Make sure to use ripe peaches for the sweetest flavor.
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice is ideal for that zesty kick!
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice Ice For serving.
  • Fresh peach slices and lemon slices for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing and slicing the fresh peaches. Remove the pits and set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 2 cups of water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Using a fine sieve or cheesecloth, strain the peach puree into a large pitcher, discarding any pulp.
  4. Pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice and add sugar to the peach mixture. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher. Taste the lemonade, and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld. Serve over ice with garnishes of fresh peach and lemon slices.

Notes

You can substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup for a healthier option. Allow the lemonade to chill for a while, as the flavors develop beautifully when chilled. Make sure your peaches are ripe to avoid a less flavorful drink. This Peach Lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days—just keep it covered!
