Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice until well coated. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the peach layer without mixing.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top if using.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for about three months. Reheat at 350°F for about 15 minutes when ready to enjoy.
