  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix No mixing required.
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted Ensure even coverage over cake mix.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Optional for added flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice until well coated. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the peach layer without mixing.
  4. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top if using.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for about three months. Reheat at 350°F for about 15 minutes when ready to enjoy.
