Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Enhances sweetness and keeps the peaches vibrant.
For the Crust and Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced peaches with the lemon juice.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter, and stir until you achieve a crumbly mixture.
Layering
  1. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a base.
  2. Evenly distribute the peach mixture over the crust.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the peaches and gently pat it down.
Baking
  1. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, preheat oven to 350°F and warm for about 10 minutes.
