Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice your fresh peaches into wedges. If desired, peel them for a smoother texture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches with half of the brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly.
- Pour the peach mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Topping Preparation
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, remaining brown sugar, flour, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
- Spread the oat mixture evenly over the peach filling.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. For variations, replace some oats with crushed nuts for a nutty flavor.
