Filling
  • 4-5 medium Fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
Batter
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon optional
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced peaches with ¾ cup of sugar and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining ¼ cup of sugar. Whisk together.
  4. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour the batter into the dish.
  6. Carefully spoon the peach mixture on top, allowing some juice to drizzle over the batter.
Baking
  1. Sprinkle cinnamon and drizzle vanilla extract over the peaches if desired.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Let the peach cobbler cool for a bit before serving.
  2. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

Swap out fresh peaches for frozen ones if needed, thaw them and drain excess liquid beforehand. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
