Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the almond flour, all-purpose flour, salt, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Stir until just combined, forming a creamy batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter into a greased tart pan or springform pan. Arrange the sliced peaches beautifully on top, pressing them gently into the batter.
- Place the tart in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Serving
- Allow the tart to cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy on its own or serve with a scoop of your favorite ice cream!
Notes
If you don’t have almond flour, you can swap it for ground pistachios or hazelnuts for a unique twist!
