Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture and cook until fragrant (about 2–3 minutes).
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, and marinara sauce until well combined.
Layering
- In a baking dish, start with a layer of the beef mixture, followed by a layer of noodles, then a layer of the ricotta mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan on top.
Baking
- Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. You can freeze portions for up to 3 months — just ensure to wrap it tightly. To reheat, bake at 350°F until warmed through or use a microwave for a quick fix.
