Noodles and Sauce Ingredients
  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles Cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup marinara sauce For layering
Cheese Ingredients
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese Mixed with Parmesan and marinara
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Used in layers
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Sprinkled on top
Seasoning Ingredients
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the beef mixture
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Seasoning for the beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Seasoning for the beef
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture and cook until fragrant (about 2–3 minutes).
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, and marinara sauce until well combined.
Layering
  1. In a baking dish, start with a layer of the beef mixture, followed by a layer of noodles, then a layer of the ricotta mixture. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  2. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. You can freeze portions for up to 3 months — just ensure to wrap it tightly. To reheat, bake at 350°F until warmed through or use a microwave for a quick fix.
