  • 1 lb ground chicken Ensure your ground chicken is Halal.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Opt for breadcrumbs that suit your dietary needs.
  • 1 each egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 each onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped parsley, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Use your hands to mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a greased baking dish. Gently press down to ensure it holds its shape nicely.
  4. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Cooking
  1. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. Once out of the oven, allow the meatloaf to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat slices at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes.
