Ingredients
  

Pork Chops
  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick) Use bone-in for added flavor and moisture.
Coating Mixture
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned) Can substitute with gluten-free panko if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Helps the mixture stick to the chops.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Add more for stronger flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional Fresh parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel to ensure a crispy crust.
Cooking
  1. Place the chops on a greased baking sheet or a lightly oiled dish.
  2. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto each pork chop, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and is golden brown on top.
  4. Once done, remove from the oven and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
