**Preheat Oven:** Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
**Mix Filling:** In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, broccoli, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, red bell pepper, green onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
**Prepare Dough:** Roll out the crescent dough onto a baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a large rectangle.
**Add Filling:** Spread the chicken and broccoli mixture evenly down the center of the dough, leaving about 3 inches of dough on each side.
**Create the Braid:** Cut 1-inch strips along both sides of the filling. Fold each strip diagonally over the filling, alternating sides to create a braided look.
