Preparation
- Start by crushing 8 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a ziplock bag and a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, beat 2 cups of softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until you achieve a light and airy texture.
Assembly
- In serving cups or glasses, layer the crushed Oreos at the bottom.
- Follow with the cream cheese mixture and repeat the layers until the cups are full, finishing with a layer of cream cheese.
- Crush a few additional Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top to finish.
Chilling
- Chill the assembled cups in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cheesecake to set.
Serving
- Serve chilled for a refreshing and indulgent treat.
Notes
These cups can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and are best served fresh. Consider using lower-fat options for a lighter version.
