Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 package 1 package (15.25 oz) of Oreo cookies Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, melted

Toppings

  • 1 cup 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup 1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) Optional, can be varied
  • 1 can 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk Drizzled over layers
  • 1 cup 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips Sprinkled on top

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Combine the crumbs with the melted butter in a mixing bowl and stir until well mixed.
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form an even layer.

Layering

  • Sprinkle the sweetened coconut evenly over the crust, followed by the chopped nuts. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk generously over the layers.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly across the top.

Baking and Cooling

  • Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the chocolate has melted.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For variations, try using different flavored Oreos like mint or birthday cake. Pack the crust tightly for the best texture and avoid overbaking to keep the chocolate melty. Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
