Preparation
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a zip-lock bag and a rolling pin or a food processor.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined and airy.
- In a lined baking dish or silicone mold, pour half of the crushed Oreo cookies into the bottom. Spread the cheesecake filling over the top, smoothing it out evenly. Add the remaining Oreos on top.
- Place the dish in the fridge and let it chill for at least 2 hours.
- After chilling, cut the cheesecake into bite-sized squares and drizzle with chocolate ganache if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days or freeze for longer storage. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
