  • 1 cup water Used to dilute the punch slightly.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Optional; adjust according to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients together.
  2. In a large pitcher, mix the cranberry juice and orange juice.
  3. Add water to the mixture and stir gently.
  4. If desired, stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  5. Before serving, pour in the ginger ale and mix gently.
  6. Garnish with orange slices and cranberries.
  7. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a different flavor, you can substitute cranberry juice with pomegranate or grape juice. If making ahead, add ginger ale right before serving to maintain fizz. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days, but note that ginger ale may lose its fizziness.
