Preparation
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the pot.
- Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the steak and set aside.
Cooking the Pasta
- In the same pot, add the broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes.
Combining Ingredients
- Once the pasta is cooked al dente, lower the heat and mix in the smoky BBQ sauce and honey. Stir until well combined and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add the seared steak back into the pot, stirring it through the pasta and sauce. If you’re using vegetables, toss them in at this stage.
Serving
- Once heated through and well mixed, taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. Serve warm straight from the pot, and enjoy!
