  • - 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • - 2 tbsp olive oil
  • - 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • - 1 cup 240ml chicken broth
  • - 1 cup 240ml heavy cream
  • - 1/2 cup 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • - Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • **Prepare the Chicken:** Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • **Cook the Chicken:** Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • **Make the Sauce:** In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  • **Add Parmesan:** Stir the Parmesan cheese into the sauce, whisking until it’s melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  • **Return Chicken to the Pan:** Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • **Garnish and Serve:** Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil before serving. Pair with pasta, rice, or vegetables for a complete meal.
