  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s fully cooked. Make sure to break it apart with a spoon to ensure even cooking.

  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Stir well to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to mingle.
  5. Stir in the cheese tortellini and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tortellini are tender and cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes
