  • 1 lb ground beef (Halal) Can substitute with ground chicken or turkey.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Use leftover rice for extra convenience.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Low-sodium is a great option.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to garnish Green onions For finishing touch.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add oil.
  2. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook stirring occasionally for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Introduce diced red bell pepper and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until veggies are tender yet vibrant.
  5. Incorporate the cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Let everything cook together for another 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  7. Serve immediately, garnishing with green onions for an added burst of flavor.

Notes

To avoid overcrowding the pan, cook in batches if necessary for even browning. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
