Salad Base
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped Fresh and crispy
  • 2 cups Radicchio, shredded Peppery taste
  • 1 medium Purple onion, sliced thin Provides crunch and flavor
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, chopped Adds sweetness
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, diced Juicy and refreshing
  • 1 cup Black olives, sliced Brings a salty flavor
  • 1-2 cups Croutons For added crunch

Dressing
  • 1 cup Italian dressing, halal-friendly

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the romaine lettuce and radicchio thoroughly. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Slice the purple onion and green bell pepper, then add them to the bowl with the lettuce.
  3. Dice the tomatoes and slice the black olives, adding them to the mix.
  4. Add the croutons to the salad for added crunch.
  5. Drizzle your Italian dressing over the salad, tossing gently until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese on top, giving it one last light toss to combine.

Notes

For substitutions, add grilled chicken or chickpeas for protein. Prepare right before serving to maintain freshness. Store dressing separately if preparing in advance.
