Cookie Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Use high-quality butter for best flavor.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Nutella Filling
  • Nutella For filling. Spoon small amounts and freeze to harden.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Spoon small amounts of Nutella onto a plate or parchment paper and freeze.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to portion out dough balls, flatten them, add a chilled dollop of Nutella in the center, and cover before rolling into a ball.
  8. Place them on a cookie sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  2. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, microwave for about 10 seconds.
