Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Spoon small amounts of Nutella onto a plate or parchment paper and freeze.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out dough balls, flatten them, add a chilled dollop of Nutella in the center, and cover before rolling into a ball.
- Place them on a cookie sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, microwave for about 10 seconds.
