Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut each sheet into squares about 4x4 inches.
- Place a spoonful of Nutella in the center of each pastry square, leaving space around the edges to seal.
- Fold the corners of each square toward the center, pinch and seal the edges to create pockets.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg to create an egg wash and brush the tops of the pastries.
- Arrange the pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to retain flakiness.
