Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Ensure thawed before use
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 large egg For egg wash
  • to taste tablespoons powdered sugar For dusting before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet.
  3. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into strips about 2 inches wide.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of Nutella at one end of each strip, leaving about an inch of space at the edges.
  5. Starting from the Nutella end, twist the strip until it forms a spiral, then fold the ends together to create a knot.
  6. Place your knots on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over each knot.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown.
Finishing Touch
  1. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
