Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the pastry into strips about 2 inches wide.
- Place a generous spoonful of Nutella at one end of each strip, leaving about an inch of space at the edges.
- Starting from the Nutella end, twist the strip until it forms a spiral, then fold the ends together to create a knot.
- Place your knots on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over each knot.
Baking
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown.
Finishing Touch
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
