  • - 6 slices of bread white or brioche works best
  • - 6 tbsp Nutella or as needed
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 1/4 cup milk
  • - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • - 2 tbsp unsalted butter for frying

Method
 

  1. **Prepare the Bread:**
  2. Remove the crusts from the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  3. **Add Nutella:**
  4. Spread a generous layer of Nutella on one side of each slice of bread, leaving a small border around the edges. Roll each slice tightly into a cylinder.
  5. **Mix the Egg Batter:**
  6. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  7. **Combine Cinnamon-Sugar:**
  8. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  9. **Cook the Rolls:**
  10. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and melt the butter. Dip each roll into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, and place it seam-side down in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until all sides are golden brown.
  11. **Coat in Cinnamon-Sugar:**
  12. Immediately roll the cooked Nutella rolls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still warm.
  13. **Serve:**
