Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup fruit juice (like orange, cranberry, or pineapple)
  • 1 cup carbonated beverage (like lemon-lime soda or tonic water)
  • 1 cup coconut water or flavored sparkling water
  • as needed ice cubes For chilling the drink
Garnishes
  • as needed fresh fruits (kiwis, strawberries, blueberries) For garnish
  • optional whipped cream Optional topping

Method

Preparation
  1. Choose transparent glasses to showcase your beautiful layers. Ensure they are clean and dry.
  2. Pour your first liquid (fruit juice) slowly into the glass until it fills about a third of the way. Aim for a steady pour to minimize mixing.
  3. If you like your drinks cold, add a few ice cubes gently to the glass. This will help maintain the layers.
  4. Next, pour your carbonated beverage over the back of a spoon to create a clear separation between the two liquids.
  5. Add a bit of coconut water or sparkling water on top, again pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon.
  6. Top your drink with fruit garnishes and, if desired, a dollop of whipped cream. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Best served fresh. If storing leftovers, place in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. Prepare layers separately if making in advance.
