Instructions
 

  • #### **Step 1: Make the Dough**
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together **flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt**. Cut in **cold butter** using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in **milk** until a dough forms.
  • #### **Step 2: Prepare the Filling**
  • In a small bowl, mix **diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg**. Set aside.
  • #### **Step 3: Roll & Fill the Dough**
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and roll it into a **12x18-inch rectangle**. Brush with **melted butter**, then spread the **apple mixture evenly** over the surface.

  • Cut the dough into **3-inch-wide strips**. Roll the first strip into a tight spiral and place in the center of a **greased 9-inch pan**. Continue wrapping the remaining strips around the center, forming a giant roll.
