- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, salted caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- Take small portions of the mixture and form them into balls or mounds (about 1 inch in size). Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
- Cover the macaroons with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Once set, drizzle additional salted caramel sauce on top.
- Serve your macaroons chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage. Use unsweetened coconut to control sweetness and add nuts or chocolate chips for customization.
