Preparation
- Crush the 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
- Combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter until well mixed.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch dish.
Making the Cream Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Gently fold in the cool whip until combined.
Assembly
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the Oreo crust.
- Sprinkle a layer of crushed Oreo cookies over the cream.
- Add the remaining cream mixture on top of the crushed Oreos.
Chilling
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
- Cut into squares, drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
Best stored in an airtight container. Can last up to 5 days in the refrigerator or up to 2 months in the freezer. Allow to thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
