  • to taste Crushed Oreos For topping the cheesecake

Method

Prepare the Oreo Crust
  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until they reach a fine crumb texture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with melted butter. Mix until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring even coverage.
Make the Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Slowly add in powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Cheesecake
  1. Pour the cheesecake filling over the Oreo crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  2. Finish by garnishing with crushed Oreo pieces on top.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-5 hours, or overnight for best results.
  2. Once chilled and set, remove from the springform pan, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for easier blending. Take your time with the chilling process; allowing it to set overnight is best. Feel free to customize toppings like chocolate shavings or fresh fruits.
