Cannoli Shells
  • 1 package cannoli shells About 10 oz or similar pastry cups
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios For garnish, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and mascarpone cheese. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Beat the mixture using an electric mixer until creamy and thoroughly combined.
  3. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed within the cream mixture.
Assembly
  1. Using a piping bag or a small spoon, carefully fill each cannoli shell or pastry cup with the creamy filling. Be generous but avoid overfilling to prevent leaks.
  2. Arrange the filled shells on a serving platter. Sprinkle the tops with chopped pistachios and any fresh fruits if using.
Chilling
  1. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the filling to set.
