Ingredients

Marinade Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and honey. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste. If using fresh herbs, chop them finely and mix them in for an extra burst of flavor.
  3. Place chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Marinate overnight for maximum flavor.
  5. Grill, bake, or pan-sear chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, let the chicken marinate longer. Allow the chicken to rest a few minutes after cooking for maximum moisture retention. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
