Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the softened butter and grated Comté cheese to the bowl. Mix until resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the Dijon mustard and egg yolk until well blended.
- Gradually add 1-2 tablespoons of cold water, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into desired shapes using a sharp knife or pizzette cutter.
Baking
- Place your snacks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
