Ingredients

For the crust
  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs for a flavorful and crunchy crust.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted to bind the cookie crumbs.
For the filling
  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream the star of our mud pie!
  • 2 cups coffee ice cream adds a delightful twist.
  • 1 cup whipped cream for the perfect topping.
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling to make it even more indulgent.
  • Chopped nuts for garnish (optional) for a little extra crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the Oreo cookie crumbs with the melted butter until combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form your crust.
  2. Place the crust in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set perfectly.
  3. Remove the crust from the freezer and layer the chocolate ice cream evenly over it. Smooth it out with a spatula.
  4. Return the pie to the freezer for another 10 minutes, allowing the chocolate layer to set.
  5. Layer coffee ice cream over the chocolate and smooth it out just like the first layer.
  6. Place the pie back in the freezer for a final 10 minutes.
  7. Once the layers are set, top the pie with whipped cream. Drizzle generously with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts if you like.
  8. Freeze the pie for at least 2 hours, or until you’re ready to serve.
  9. Slice and enjoy your deliciously indulgent Multi-Layer Mud Pie!
