Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the Oreo cookie crumbs with the melted butter until combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish to form your crust.
- Place the crust in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set perfectly.
- Remove the crust from the freezer and layer the chocolate ice cream evenly over it. Smooth it out with a spatula.
- Return the pie to the freezer for another 10 minutes, allowing the chocolate layer to set.
- Layer coffee ice cream over the chocolate and smooth it out just like the first layer.
- Place the pie back in the freezer for a final 10 minutes.
- Once the layers are set, top the pie with whipped cream. Drizzle generously with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts if you like.
- Freeze the pie for at least 2 hours, or until you’re ready to serve.
- Slice and enjoy your deliciously indulgent Multi-Layer Mud Pie!
Notes
Store leftovers in the freezer wrapped tightly in plastic wrap for up to 2 weeks. Let thaw in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
