  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2 sticks
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix-ins
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup crushed Halloween Oreo cookies Plus extra for topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle additional Oreo pieces on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Once baked, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
