Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth, then add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and oats. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and m&ms, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting them into squares and serving.
Notes
For extra creaminess, consider adding dark chocolate chunks or chocolate syrup into the batter. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge. To freeze, wrap brownies individually in plastic wrap and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
