Cheese Base
  • 1 block cream cheese 8 oz
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Vegetables and Spices
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips or crackers

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until well integrated.
  4. Add in the diced green onions, diced bell peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer the dip mixture to a medium-sized baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Keep an eye on baking to achieve a bubbly consistency with a golden crust.
