  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves (washed and stems removed) Always use fresh mint for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice Adjust according to taste preference.
  • 2 cups water
  • to taste lime slices (optional, for added flair) Optional for aesthetic appeal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the fresh mint leaves under cool water. Gently pat them dry.
  2. In a measuring cup, combine the freshly squeezed lime juice with water. Stir until well blended.
  3. In your ice cube tray, place a few washed mint leaves at the bottom of each cube section for visual appeal.
  4. Pour your lime-water mixture over the mint leaves, filling each cube to about 3/4 full.
  5. If desired, add a slice of lime into each compartment for extra zest.
Freezing
  1. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and let it sit for about 4 hours, or until completely frozen.
Serving
  1. Once frozen solid, pop the ice cubes out of the tray and store them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer.
  2. When you’re ready to enjoy a refreshing drink, simply add a few Mint Lime Ice Cubes.

Notes

Your Mint Lime Ice Cubes can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months in an airtight container. For freshness, avoid repeated thawing and refreezing.
