  • 8 oz cheese slices (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice) Customize with your preferred cheese.
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 cup tomato slices
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise Feel free to substitute with avocado if desired.
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • ½ cup pickles (sliced)

Preparation
  1. Gather Your Ingredients: Begin by gathering all listed ingredients on a clean countertop for easier assembly.
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Slice the mini baguettes or rolls in half horizontally. You can toast them slightly for extra crunch.
  3. Spread the Condiments: Using a butter knife, spread mayonnaise on one side of each roll and mustard on the other half.
  4. Layer the Fillings: Start with the lettuce, followed by your chosen lunch meat, cheese, tomato slices, and pickles. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover & Assemble: Place the top half of the roll back on and gently press down to hold everything together. Repeat for all sandwiches.
  6. Cut & Serve: Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters for easy handling and arrange them on a platter.

Notes

To store leftovers, wrap tightly in plastic wrap or an airtight container. They can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for a month. For reheating, microwave for 15-20 seconds or use a toaster oven.
